Welcome!

This is my first blog post on my new site and I'm excited to get started! A little bit about me; I'm a Psychology teacher and counsellor from the UK, and I have always loved to sew, craft and make! I make my own clothes as a hobby, and since moving to Germany with my husband and my dog Charlie I have decided that it's time to live the dream and make my hobby my job. I can't wait to find out how it's going to go, and who I'm going to meet along the way. I have a passion for sustainability, and have a real 'make do and mend' attitude towards clothing. I believe that if more people fixed and altered rather than buying new, we could reduce the amount of clothing waste in the world - and improve our wardrobes while we are at it! So in my tiny way I'm hoping to be able to have an impact on the environment, as well as help people out by helping their beloved garments live a longer life :-)
